Preparing For A New Life

Hello there. Yesterday I was basically a sloth. I took my daughter to the ER on Tuesday because her temperature was 104.7! Found out she had a double bilateral ear infection. Poor girl. So she has been at my side for the past week. It is nice to have the luxury of not working so I can be there for her. The downside is that I am drained of energy and my patience is thin. I was feeling unusual so I took my temperature yesterday. It was a little higher than normal so I concluded this was why I was feeling off. Anyways, I got a call from the FRG (Family Readiness Group) leader for my husband's unit. Turns out he will not be coming back when they predicted. The date got pushed out another week. This wouldn't be a big deal if he hadn't been gone for so long. Very frustrating, but when is comes to the military you have to learn to expect the unexpected. As a former soldier myself I have dealt with it all.. 24 hour shifts, calls in the middle of the night, ect.

Onto HCG related blogging.. I got an email from USPS saying my shipment is in India as of yesterday. The waiting sucks! It's hard when you make the big decision to do this diet, then have to wait several weeks to get the "goods" haha. In preparation of my husbands return I went grocery shopping (also to pick up some supplies for the diet). This diet is going to test my self control since his food will be stocked in the pantry also (macaroni and cheese, chips, power bars, ice cream, candy). He was blessed with the "skinny gene"! I made a trip to Whole Foods to get organic Melba Toast, liquid B12, Colloidial Silver, and an amber glass bottle. The local pharmacy sold me a mixing needle (seems a bit short so hopefully it works). I already have the syringes from my daughters medicine. I should be set to mix the HCG for sublingual using mamaclok's recipe! I bought a food scale, organic chicken, and lean beef. When I got home I weighed out 100 gram portions of the meats and placed them in little freezer bags. This is to make my future meal prep easier.

I'm testing out this website called evitaminstore.com. I ordered some Sweet Leaf liquid Stevia and YerbaMate tea. I'll post how I like their company when I receive the orders. I get a little nervous using website I am unfamiliar with, but they seem legit. I am trying really hard to find products that are protocol friendly. Since this will be my first round I want everything to be done correctly to get the best results possible!

Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weeny, Pink Polka Dot Bikini

I ordered my swimsuit today from Victoria's Secret. The only difference is I got the "skirted" bottoms for a little more butt and thigh coverage. Every year I try to find a swimsuit I like, but am never happy in the end. The reason I get upset it because of they never seem to support my chest properly. So I caved, forking over a little extra cash to invest in a suit that will provide support AND look cute. I have always been a huge fan of VS because they have excellent customer service (helping me find the perfect bra). Plus their bra's seem to last longer. So as soon as the suit comes in the mail I can take my "before" pictures. My husband comes home from Iraq (after over 9 months away) next month. We plan on taking a vacation to Florida. The vacation and suit are a large motivation to stick to this diet plan!

Ordered My HCG

Hello again. After my little introduction post, I thought I would write about how I am impatiently waiting for my HCG to arrive! I ordered three ampoules of 5000 i.u. strength HCG(Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) from alldaychemist.com on Sunday. The site just sent me an email saying it shipped on February 22. Now I am just crossing my fingers that nothing goes wrong with customs so I can receive it soon. It is so hard waiting! I have been trying to pass the time by reading as much as I can on the diet. This includes reading other peoples blogs. It just makes me want to start now even more, haha.

First Time Blogger

I just created this blog.. obviously. Never before have I put myself out on the internet. This will be a new and hopefully fun experience. The reason I created this is because I would like to track and share my weight-loss journey with whoever wants to to follow. I have always found inspiration and support through reading others blogs. So I believe it is my turn to share. Maybe I can help someone else find the motivation to start their own journey. Or maybe no one will read this. Either way I decided that a blog is the best way to express myself.

Magnificent Mamma: Female. 22 years old. Married. Mother to 16 month old girl. She is my life! Especially since most of the time my husband is away on deployments (he is in the Army). This fall I am going to start going to school for Business Administration.

Weight-loss Journey: I have always been of average weight ranging from 130-155 lbs. After having my daughter I weighed a whopping 210 lbs (quiet a lot for a girl who is only 5'4"). A lot of women go through depression or "baby blues" after having a child. I was just plain miserable from being "fat". So I joined Weight Watchers in hopes of getting back to normal. I had much success dropping 60 lbs by eating right and exercising. This took a lot of time (over a year) and self control. Now I am stuck at 150 lbs. I have tried everything possible (in a healthy manner) to break this plateau with no luck. After much research on different diets and products I have decided to try the HCG Diet. I know there is a lot of hype about HCG, both good and bad. This is a decision I have made to improve myself emotionally and physically.

Goals: Lose 20 lbs (weighing 130 lbs) and having a BMI of 22

Over the next month or two I plan on recording my weight, measurements, emotions, and thoughts on this blog. Wish me luck!
